Magnetic People Wins the 2024 Wendy Angela Award for Organisational Diversity

The Magnetic People Team had the privilege of attending the 2024 WA Defence Industry International Woman’s Day lunch and were proud to support the event as a silver sponsor.

It was an inspiring day celebrating achievements and contributions of women within the defence industry. The team were honored to be nominated as a finalist alongside Barrett Communications / Motorola Solutions for the inaugural Wendy Angela Award. Named after Rear Admiral (RADM) Wendy Malcolm AM, CSM RAN – Head Specialist Ships and Patrol Boats and Captain Angela F. Bond, FAIM - Australian Department of Defence, the award recognises organisational commitment to diversity.

We are delighted to share that Magnetic People were announced as the winner of the award, which was accepted by Tanya Pavez – Managing Director and Chief People Officer at the event.

This award is a reflection of our ongoing efforts to foster inclusive workplaces where everyone's talents are valued.
